Job Opening: Machine Operator-3rd Shift

Produces machined parts by operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machine parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T). Programs mills and lathes by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches; calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work pieces, adhering to company standards. Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs. • Minimum 1 year work experience as CNC operator • Computer application knowledge (MS Word, Excel, Outlook) • Must be able to read and comprehend safety procedures, work instructions and drawings. • Must have the ability to operate a computer and learn specialized programs as needed to perform job functions. • Must be able to stand and/or walk on hard surfaces for up to 8 hours per day.

Prior Machine Operator Experience & High School Diploma or GED
