Job Opening: Assembler

Our client is looking for an individual who is mechanically inclined to perform assembly projects and machine operating. This position is located in Urbandale.

Starting Pay: $17.00 – $20.00/Hour 

Hours: 6:00am-2:30pm (Monday-Friday)

Job Duties:

• Using basic hand and power tools to assemble kits.
• Cutting plastics to the proper length (basic measurement knowledge).
• Moving products on to a router machine table using an air lift.
• Moving products with pallet jack and/or forklift in warehouse to properly stage raw materials or finished products to the correct areas.
• Keeping the work environment clean and safe.

Requirements:

• Excellent attendance and track record of work longevity.
• Ability to follow directions and protocols.
• Properly measuring and cutting materials to an 8th of an inch (reading a tape measure).
• Ability to operate or learn to operate a sit-down forklift occasionally.
• Opportunity to advance in to a machine operator position.
