Description
KITCHEN MACHINE OPERATOR / COOKING VESSEL OPERATOR
Responsible for producing sauces in open cooking vessels and monitoring each batch to ensure top-quality results. Duties include operating cooking equipment (vessels, ovens, pumps, dishwashers), verifying and measuring ingredients, preparing trays, loading and unloading cooking vessels, and tracking time and temperatures. Operators clean and sanitize equipment and work areas, gather veggie carts, fill containers with hot stock, palletize boxes, run the pan wash machine, and use pallet jacks to move totes. Role requires clear communication with the Supervisor and adherence to GMPs, safety rules, food safety, sanitation procedures, and environmental protocols. Performs additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Manufacturing or food production experience preferred
- Bilingual Spanish a plus
- Strong attention to detail; dependable, trustworthy, energetic, and team-oriented
- Positive attitude, problem-solving skills, and comfort in fast-paced, changing environments
Shifts & Pay
- 2nd shift: 2:30pm–11:00pm Su–Th ($22.50 + $0.55 differential)
- 3rd shift: 10:30pm–7:00am Su–Th ($22.50 + $1.25 differential)
