The Deposit Operations Specialist is a detail-oriented and highly organized professional who is responsible for supporting the daily processing and maintenance of deposit accounts and related back-office functions. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, excels in a fast-paced environment, and delivers exceptional internal and external customer service. This position requires accuracy, efficiency, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
Job Duties:
- Perform daily deposit operations activities, including processing, reviewing, and maintaining customer accounts.
- Conduct accurate and timely data entry of transactions, documents, and account information.
- Support back-office functions such as reconciliations, corrections, documentation review, and exception processing.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and operational procedures.
- Maintain orderly records, transaction logs, and documentation.
- Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries from branches, internal departments, and customers.
- Assist in troubleshooting system issues related to deposit operations.
- Contribute to process improvement efforts to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide high-quality customer service by delivering clear information, support, and follow-through on assigned tasks.

Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum one year of branch or bank operations experience preferred.
- Proficiency with personal computers, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, MS Access, PowerPoint), and other business software.
- Working knowledge of relational database systems and deposit/back-office operations preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly analytical, detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling multiple priorities.
- Strong critical-thinking skills and the ability to adapt to changing work demands.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a deadline-driven environment.
