Pay: $28.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Start Date: ASAP
Assignment Type: Temporary – Long-term (No anticipated project end date)
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Tactical Procurement Analyst to support supply chain operations and ensure the continuous availability of assigned components. This role is responsible for helping maintain on-time delivery performance, minimizing total material costs, and supporting overall inventory optimization. The ideal candidate will collaborate with multiple departments to ensure efficient procurement processes and uninterrupted product flow.
Key Responsibilities

Communicate supply chain concerns and updates with appropriate teams and stakeholders.

Maintain and update procurement and system records to ensure data accuracy and system integrity.

Support continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain, including visual management boards and 5S practices.

Assist with resourcing and outsourcing projects to ensure materials are available to meet customer demand.

Provide support to new product introduction teams, proposal development, and subcontracting initiatives.

Resolve shipping discrepancies, receiving errors, and invoice issues in a timely manner.

Monitor and help reduce excess and obsolete inventory while supporting part standardization efforts.

Participate in continuous improvement activities such as Value Stream Mapping and Kaizen events to enhance supply chain performance.

Promote collaboration across teams to ensure responsiveness to customer requirements.

Coordinate supply planning activities to help maintain optimal inventory levels.

Monitor key planning and reporting tools, including exceptions reports, consumption reports, and past-due reports.

Maintain and update relevant MRP settings, routing data, and master data for materials and suppliers.
Required Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of related experience in procurement, supply chain, or a similar role.

Experience working with suppliers in global or low-cost regions (such as India, China, or Eastern Europe).

Experience applying lean concepts such as Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, or 5S.
Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related technical field.

Professional certifications such as CPIM, CSCP, APICS, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma Green Belt.
Skills & Competencies

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make timely, data-driven decisions.

Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred).

Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Experience implementing or managing Kanban or pull-based inventory systems.

Knowledge of supplier qualification processes and supplier performance management practices.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.

Ability to build strong working relationships and influence stakeholders across different levels of an organization.
