Job Opening: Mowing Equipment Operator

Starting Pay

$10.32/hour and up, DOE

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Seeking a dependable and motivated Mowing Equipment Operator. This position is responsible for mowing and maintaining city rights-of-way, drainage areas, and public grounds using a variety of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractors equipped with bush hogs
• Operate tractors with side-arm mowing attachments
• Operate zero-turn mowers
• Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance
• Assist with general drainage and grounds maintenance
• Follow all city safety policies and procedures

Minimum Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• High school diploma or GED
• Experience with:
  • Bush hogs
  • Tractors with side-arm attachments
  • Zero-turn mowers
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to perform physical labor related to mowing and maintenance
