Pay: $16/Hr.
Schedule: 1st Shift Sun-Thurs 8am-5pm (Work Days are subject to change)

As a Custodian/Facilities Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the overall upkeep of our facilities, ensuring that they meet health and safety standards while also creating an inviting atmosphere. You will be responsible for performing routine cleaning and maintenance tasks, managing waste disposal, and assisting with general facility needs. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving, allowing you to effectively address any issues that arise in daily operations. You will work collaboratively with other team members to execute cleaning schedules, maintain equipment, and ensure a seamless experience for everyone utilizing our spaces. Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, and common areas to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts effectively across the facility.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and order of outdoor areas, including sidewalks and entrances.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities for maintenance needs and report issues to the management team promptly.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are stored safely and are in good working condition.
- Collaborate with other staff members to coordinate cleaning schedules and special projects as needed.
- Respond promptly to cleaning emergencies, ensuring that areas are restored to safe and clean conditions.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional relevant certifications preferred.
- Previous experience in custodial or facilities maintenance roles is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, as well as safe handling procedures.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to excellence in work and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
