Job Opening: Member Services Specialist – 1st Shift
Description
We’re seeking a dedicated Member Services Specialist to support our members and agents with servicing existing life and annuity policies. In this role, you will:
• Process policy loans, withdrawals, surrenders, and premium payments (including credit card and online payments)
• Respond to member and agent phone inquiries, determine next steps, and prepare required paperwork
• Run illustrations for existing policies
• Review and verify 1099 tax forms and balance withholdings
• Support our bi-weekly mortgage program
Qualifications:
• Life insurance or non-profit experience is a plus, but not required—training provided
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Professional, customer-focused approach
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel; ability to learn new systems
• Ability to perform basic math calculations
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to sit for full shift
• Computer work for 8 hours
• Occasional gripping, grasping, twisting, and bending
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Schedule: Mon–Thu 7:00am–5:00pm; Fri 7:00am–3:30pm
Training: Same schedule
Pay: $18/hour
