Water Dept. Utility Tech working outside maintaining local water lines.
The typical schedule for the department
- Days working 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday to Friday
Must be flexible to working OT as needed and on-call
Starting Pay is $11.83 an hour
Water Lines Utility Tech Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain, repair, and install water pumps
- Respond to service calls
- Dig up and patch or replace waterlines
- Follow all Safety guidelines
- Follow standard work instruction as assigned
- Perform hands-on tasks

- MUST have a Valid Drivers License
- MUST have a High School Diploma/GED
- Must be able to obtain certifications while employed
- Must be able to read and write
- MUST be able to walk long distance and work all 4 seasons
- Must be able to use shovels and not scared to get dirty and wet
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Follow safety guidelines
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision
