Job Responsibilities

• Work with Quality Department and Engineering in developing quality procedures.
• Document QC operations; make recommendations for improving production process.
• Perform calibration of measuring and test equipment according to set schedule and keep history data base of calibrations.
• Perform receiving in-process and final inspection of product. Record findings according to acceptability requirements per drawings and specs.
• Examine and record dimensional conformance to drawings using measuring and inspection tools and equipment

• Experience in the operation of quality control systems or in a manufacturing environment.
• Analytical ability to develop appropriate tests of product quality required
• Experience in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings a plus.
• Computer skills in programs including Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), Epicor.
• Weld inspection experience a plus. Certifications
• ASQ or technical certification a plus.
• UV-1, certified inspector certification. If not held, must be able to obtain within 12 months of employment.
• Use and application of inspection tools and measuring and test equipment.
