Industrial Machine Operator

Remedy Staffing is pleased to work with some of the finest companies in Eastern Iowa.  Our client, a leader in copper and metals manufacturing, is looking to fill numerous machine operator positions. These are all temp to hire positions.

Job duties: 

• Set up and operate computer and switch controls for the work center in a safe manner according to ISO quality management system
• Review schedules to determine set up work sequence
• Review equipment check list
• Other duties as assigned Set up and operate Plant Machinery in a safe and appropriate manner
• Production Manufacturing environment. May include weather and environment temperature extremes

Job Requirements:

• While performing the duties of this job the employee will be required to read, write, stand, talk and listen
• Occasionally may be required to sit, walk, bend, stoop, twist, turn, use hands and fingers, reach above head, write, type, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls
• Must have the ability to distinguish and identify colors
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently, be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 10 pounds constantly.
• Production Manufacturing environment. May include weather and environment temperature extremes.
• Other duties as assigned
