Job Opening: Jumper Technician-2nd Shift/ Weekend Shift

Jumper Cable Technician

2nd Shift: 4pm-2:30am (Monday-Thursday) OT as needed

Weekend Shift: 6am-6pm Friday-Sunday

Pay starts: $20/hr.

Summary:
Build electrical and fiber optic cable assemblies using hand and mechanical tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, and prep hose, cable, and wire

• Pull wire through hose and hardware before soldering

• Assemble parts using specified procedures

• Use forklift and load meter to stretch jumper assemblies

• Record labor hours accurately

• Troubleshoot issues with minimal engineering help

• Maintain and secure quality equipment and calibrations

• Report errors in procedures, drawings, or materials

• Complete and enter documentation and data accurately

• Work well with other departments

• Identify and report tooling needs

• Follow all safety rules and maintain a clean work area

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required

• 2-year technical degree preferred

• Experience in mechanical, electrical, or production work

• Recent manufacturing experience is a plus!
