Job Opening: Material Handler

WAREHOUSE MATERIAL HANDLER

$16.00 Per Hour — First Shift Position

Remedy Staffing is pleased to work with the finest companies in Eastern Iowa.  Our client needs an individual to join their term with order pick experience, palatalizing and fork truck 

The Material Handler is responsible for moving materials, supplies, and finished goods to designated places in the facility or onto trucks. Preferred candidate will have experience with pallet jack and fork truck.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• The Warehouse Material Handler will manually using hand or fork truck perform various material handling duties in the facility
• Manually loads finished product on pallet or hand truck
• Stacks skids or pallets in designated areas
• Provides cleaning services, as necessary, including sweeping floors, cleaning offices and removal of trash in proper containers or designated areas
• The Warehouse Material Manager will performs other related tasks to keep the work area safe, clean and organized

Essential Functions:

• Work in a safe and efficient manner to meet shipping deadlines
• Ability to stand 8 to 12 hours a day on concrete
• Ability to read and understand English
• Must be able to reach up to top of 6 foot tall racks
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
• Recent experience in driving forklift required/
