Our client is looking for Packaging & Production Operators to join their team
Long Term Temporary position, for the right candidate this could be a Temp-To-Hire opportunity!
Wage Range is $19.00 to $24.00 based on shift and position
12 hour shifts — 7am to 7pm and 7pm to 7am.
Position Summary:
The Production Packaging Operator and the Machine Operator may operate processing, packaging, computer control system, and material handling equipment to safely produce quality product in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a Packaging Operator:
- Operate all machines and equipment necessary to properly process and package finished product
- Must have experience operating a fork truck in a manufacturing environment
- Load, unload, store, sample, and transfer raw materials, finished product, and miscellaneous items
- Maintain equipment through proper lubrication, minor repairs/adjustments; report all malfunctions and needed repairs
- Maintain accurate and complete records and charts
- Routinely sanitize and clean plant equipment and facilities
- Perform material handling duties in accordance with all applicable OSHA and EPA standards
- Effectively communicate with all other team members
- Participate in safety, quality, and productivity improvement projects
- Fill in for overtime requirements including vacation, sick leave, training and others as needed
- Perform other duties and tasks as required
In addition to the Essential Duties and Responsibilities listed above, the Production Machine Operator also must perform the added tasks:
- Perform all required “in process” tests and adjustments
- Review Batch Manufacturing Records for completeness and accuracy
- Make sure all paperwork and forms are available and completed for their shift
Production Packaging and Machine Operator Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous production experience in a pharmaceutical or food manufacturing plant
- Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office / control system experience
Physical Requirements and Essential Functions Include but are not limited to:
- Overtime as required
- Ability to work rotating shifts
- Ability to stand for up to 12 hours
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
- ability to read work instructions and communicate in English
- Reach, grasp, lift, turn, twist arms, hands and body as needed
