Our client is looking for Production Team Operators

Long Term Temporary position, for the right candidate this could be a Temp-To-Hire opportunity!

Hour wage:  $23.00

Shift 7am to 7pm

Position Summary:

The Production Operator operates processing, packaging, computer control system, and material handling
equipment (Fork Lift) to safely produce quality product in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a Production Operators:

• Operate all machines and equipment necessary to properly process and package finished product
• Must have experience operating a fork truck in a manufacturing environment
• Load, unload, store, sample, and transfer raw materials, finished product, and miscellaneous items
• Maintain equipment through proper lubrication, minor repairs/adjustments; report all malfunctions and needed
  repairs
• Perform all required “in process” tests and adjustments
• Maintain accurate and complete records and charts
• Routinely sanitize and clean plant equipment and facilities
• Review Batch Manufacturing Records for completeness and accuracy
• Make sure all paperwork and forms are available and completed for their shift
• Perform material handling duties in accordance with all applicable OSHA and EPA standards
• Effectively communicate with all other team members
• Participate in safety, quality, and productivity improvement projects
• Perform other duties and tasks as required
• Fill in for overtime requirements including vacation, sick leave, training and others as needed

Production Operators Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Previous production experience in a pharmaceutical or food manufacturing plant
• Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office / control system experience

Physical Requirements and Essential Functions Include but are not limited to:

• Overtime as required
• Ability to work rotating shifts
• Ability to stand for up to 12 hours
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
• ability to read work instructions and communicate in English
• Reach, grasp, lift, turn, twist arms, hands and body as needed
