Salary Range: $60,000–$80,000 annually
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Retail Operations Specialist (Merchandising and Marketing) to support our convenience retail operations. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate product, pricing, and promotional data across all retail locations. The specialist will ensure product information is set up correctly in point-of-sale (POS) and back-office systems, monitor pricing compliance, and support store teams with accurate data that drives strong customer experiences and profitability.
Key Responsibilities

Manage product and pricing data in the company’s POS and back-office systems.

Ensure timely and accurate setup of new items, price changes, and product removals.

Monitor retail pricing compliance and resolve discrepancies.

Partner with accounting to ensure vendor costs and tax rates are correct.

Support promotional campaigns by setting up and verifying pricing data.

Collaborate with vendors, marketing, operations, and store teams to ensure accurate product and pricing execution.

Generate reports to track pricing, sales trends, and data accuracy.

Provide troubleshooting and training support for store staff regarding product or pricing issues.

Assist with audits for vendor billing, compliance, and product accuracy.

Participate in cross-functional projects that improve retail operations and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications
Required:

Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in marketing, business, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

3+ years of experience in retail pricing, product management, or related field.

Strong data management and analysis skills; detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.

Proficiency with POS/retail systems (experience with PDI or Passport a plus).

Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.

Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (some travel to store locations may be required).

Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:

Experience in convenience retail or multi-store retail operations.
-
Knowledge of merchandising and category management.

Project management experience.
