Position: Loan Manager (Temporary)
Location: Honolulu
Schedule: Monday through Friday from 7:45 am to 4:30 pm
Pay: $30.00 – $38.00 per hour (depends on experience)

Reputable local organization is seeking a skilled and motivated Loan Manager to oversee a Loan Program.

The Loan Manager will be responsible for the overall management of the program—including loan origination, fiscal operations, customer relations, and compliance with federal and board-approved guidelines. This role is ideal for someone with strong lending experience, leadership skills, and a commitment to serving the local community.

 Responsibilities

• Manage the origination, processing, and servicing of consumer and business loans.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with borrowers, referral partners, and community stakeholders.

• Oversee program policies, procedures, and reporting requirements to ensure compliance.

• Lead budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and fiscal oversight of the program.

• Supervise and develop staff, providing training, coaching, and performance management.

• Monitor loan collections and implement strategies to maintain program effectiveness.

• Analyze financial reports, credit data, and market trends to identify risks, opportunities, and solutions.

• Represent the program in strategic/business planning and community outreach.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in banking, finance, business, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.

• Experience:

  • At least 5 years of lending experience in banking, a revolving loan fund, or similar financial institution, including loan origination and consulting.

• Knowledge & Skills:

  • Expertise in loan operations, compliance, and financial reporting.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to analyze complex financial data and make sound lending decisions.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and commercial loan software.
