Location: West Jefferson, OH

Shifts Available:

• 1st Shift – Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• 2nd Shift – Sunday to Thursday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM

Join our dynamic team as a Maintenance Technician I, where you’ll play a key role in ensuring our facility operates smoothly, efficiently, and safely. We’re currently hiring one technician for each shift and looking for motivated individuals who are passionate about maintenance and eager to take on a wide range of hands-on responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Maintenance Technician Will:

• Build pallets and crates as needed
• Perform repairs and maintenance on a wide range of facility equipment
• Stay informed on plant layout and current company safety and environmental policies
• Maintain facility infrastructure, including carpentry, electrical, HVAC, painting, plumbing, and mechanical work
• Coordinate and schedule third-party vendors for specialized services
• Handle minor plumbing and cosmetic repairs
• Support the rollout of new processes and equipment
• Process and test products requiring mechanical evaluation
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance on equipment

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to read basic electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree, vocational training, or equivalent experience
• Active Journeyman license
• At least 2 years of facility maintenance experience
• Strong skills in hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, and industrial systems
• Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
• Ability to interpret manuals, diagrams, and specifications
• Excellent communication skills with all levels of staff and vendors

Physical Requirements:

• Lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks
  Walk or stand for extended periods on various surfaces
• Perform movements including reaching, bending, climbing, squatting, and kneeling
• Access equipment areas including under, on, or inside machinery
• Safely operate lift trucks and manual lifting tools
