Job Opening: Production Operator

Location: Crawfordville, FL

Pay: $19/hour

Duration: Temp-to-hire (following a 3-week training period) Training schedule is Monday-Friday, 6am-2:30pm, subject to change.

Schedule: After training is completed; the schedule will be rotating 12-hour shifts, alternating between day and night every 14 days

Must be able to clear a background and drug screen. Must have a valid Driver’s License.

Major Position Responsibilities

A local manufacturing company located in Crawfordville, FL is seeking Production Operators to join its team. This role involves transporting samples, raw materials, and supplies as needed to support production activities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Transporting products using a hand dolly and powder van (truck)
• Maintaining operating logs, preparing accurate labels, and recording data correctly
• Operating pneumatic tools and various production equipment
• Using hoisting equipment to assist in the handling of materials
• Participating in emergency response teams such as Hazmat and Fire Brigade
• Operating a tractor-trailer rig to relocate NC trailers and complete additional tasks as assigned
• Performing frequent bending, stair and ladder climbing, and overhead reaching
• Repetitively pushing/trucking loads up to 210 pounds and lifting up to 55 pounds
• Demonstrating manual dexterity and full use of fingers and hands
• Working 12-hour rotating shifts, alternating every 14 days between day and night
• Operating in a non-climate-controlled environment
• Being available for weekend and overtime work as required

Qualifications & Requirements

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions
• Proven dependability with a solid work history and reliable attendance
• Physical dexterity to operate equipment and instrumentation
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to pass all task certifications, including the powder van driving test
• Strong work ethic and consistent, reliable transportation
• Successful completion of a comprehensive background check
• Valid State Driver’s License with a clean motor vehicle record
• High school diploma or GED required
