Utilize and program CMM equipment to inspect parts, ensuring adherence to strict quality standards and tolerances.
-
Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining processes and ensure accurate part specifications.
-
Apply precision measuring tools (such as micrometers, comparators, and calipers) to ensure part quality and dimensional accuracy.
-
Adjust feeds and speeds based on material and part specifications to optimize machining performance.
-
Maintain tight tolerances (±.001”) during the machining process.
-
Assist in tooling and fixture design and fabrication to support machining operations.
