Job Requirements

• Able to work with hands on equipment like jack hammers
• Able to work around chemicals
• Able to read, write English
• Must be able  to work outdoors in all weather conditions year round
• Attend to detail
• Able to multi-task and identify problems
• Heavy lifting required throughout shift
• Stand 8-10 hours

Job Responsibilities

• Mechanically attach metal plates to railroad ties
• Lift 25 lb pre-plates 
• Operate automated machines
• Inspect pre-plated railroad ties for proper plate placement
• Follow safety guidelines, and additional PPE where required
• Follow standard work instructions as assigned
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Troubleshoot equipment issues
