Full Time Production Support

We are currently looking to hire a Full-Time Production Support  for a Manufacturing Company located in Alexandria, la

Shift: Fulltime, Monday – Friday, (occasionally weekends) typically 5am-1:30pm

ROP: $15.00/hour

Job Responsibilities

• Use hand tools to perform functions on tanks such as grinding, buffing, removing scale inside and outside of tanks.
• Assist welders to replenish parts as needed
• rotate to other departments as needed
• Unmask tanks after painting
• Prepare tanks for paint operations, set-up/remove “can” openers and shore inside tank.
• clean up work area and others
• Attend safety meetings
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Be reliable and punctual at work
• Strictly adhere to safety standards
• Comply with designated PPE
• Work overtime and other shifts as requested if needed
• Must be able to work in hot or cold conditions
• Able to lift up to 20-50 lbs., sit, stand, and reach
• Able to carry, twist, push, and pull products
• Must pass NON-DOT physical and drug screen
