Job Opening: Machine Finisher

Immediate Production and Machine Operation openings with a growing manufacturing company in the East Syracuse Area!

This is an ENTRY level role and training will be provided! Seeking candidates who are willing to learn and grow with the company!

Shift: 10 hours shift!

Mon-Thurs 6am-4:30pm 

Pay: $16-18/hr DOE

Job Responsibilities: Finish machined parts using a wide variety of air, electric, and hand held tools to the required finish, perform a visual inspection of finished parts, gauge inspection as necessary, and complete all required production paperwork and reporting.

• Use a wide variety of air, electric and hand held tools to deburr, grind, chisel, sand and buff machined parts to required finish
• Visually inspect parts and blend distorted and mismatched parts as necessary
• Use go no go gauges on specified parts
• Verify counts with traveler and route to next operation
• Maintain adequate supplies of finishing consumables
• Completes and/or maintains required reports and records
• Adheres to all safety policies and practices, consistently uses personal protective equipment, and practices good housekeeping.
