Job Opening: Day Shift Manufacturing Positions in Middleton

We are seeking to hire a Machine Operator, Assistant Pourline Technician, & General Laborer for our valued client in Middleton, WI!

Let’s talk about the available shifts:

• 1^st Shift Machine Operator works Monday – Friday 5am-1:30pm (with OT when required)
• 1^st Shift Assistant Pourline Technician works Monday – Friday 6am-2pm
• 1^st Shift General Laborer works Monday – Friday, 5am-5pm

The Pay for these positions:

• $17.50/hr – General Laborer
• $18.50/hr – Machine Operator
• $20.50/hr – Assistant Pourline Technician
• Over time pay is paid at 1.5x your rate, after 40 hours per week is worked

Job Duties of the Machine Operator:

• Set up machines
• Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met
• Feed raw materials into machines
• Operate foam machinery
• Material handling
• Perform other duties as necessary

Job Duties of the Assistant Pourline Technician:

• Assist in running the foam machine during pouring operations
• Check & maintain proper chemical levels in run tanks
• Enter/adjust flow controls where necessary
• Prepare and assemble mechanical components required to set up machine for operation
• Assist with ensuring all foam machine troughs are properly maintained and installed

Job Duties of the General Laborer:

• Monitor machine operation
• Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met
• Lift rolls of foam to production line
• Replace spools as necessary
• Perform other duties as necessary

• Machine Operator Requirements:
• We are looking for someone who has had machine operating experience, but is willing to handle material when needed
• Must be able to read a tape measure
• Must be able to measure foam blocks and cut them to the best yield possible
• Ability to read basic part drawings and cut parts accordingly
• Basic math skills
• Basic writing skills, primarily numbers
• Must be able to work in a group setting
• Must be able to communicate with coworkers and supervisors
• Ability to learn and work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to read basic parts drawings in order to cut parts accurately
• Needs to be mechanically inclined.
• Ability to multi-task and follow procedures
• Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function
• Assistant Pourline Technician Requirements:
• Previous experience working with chemicals
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
• Ability to perform work safely
• Ability to communicate thoughts, ideas, requests, and problems to fellow employees and supervisors on a one-to-one basis, as well as over the phone and in written form
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Must be capable of learning and comprehending job assignments, possess good memory and recall abilities, troubleshoot problems and independently implement solutions

• General Laborer Requirements:
• Good communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and follow procedures

• Lift up to 50 lbs.
