As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating, executing, and overseeing multiple programs and projects that are aligned with the organization’s strategic objectives. Your role will involve ensuring the successful delivery of these projects on time, within scope, and within budget, while maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Coordination: Oversee the end-to-end execution of various projects within a larger program, including planning, monitoring, and reporting progress.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, both internal and external, ensuring clear and effective communication in both English and Japanese.
- Resource Management: Coordinate resources, manage project timelines, and resolve any issues that arise during the execution of the program.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with diverse teams (engineering, marketing, operations, etc.) to ensure alignment on goals and deliverables.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior leadership and stakeholders on the program’s progress, risks, and key issues.
- Language Proficiency: Use Japanese for communication with Japanese-based affiliates, teams, and stakeholders. Translate or interpret documents and discussions when necessary.
- Continuous Improvement: Review completed projects, gather feedback, and suggest improvements for future programs
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in program coordination
- Language Skills:
- Fluency in Japanese (both spoken and written) is required.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and other project management frameworks is a plus.
