Responsibilities

· Have a working knowledge of mail metering machines and ensuring we meet all shipping regulations whether through USPS, UPS or other avenues.

· Accounting tasks including PO’s and payment.

· Sort USPS and interoffice mail and make it available at an internal post office box.

· Sort and help prepare outgoing USPS and express mail items.

· Contact employees by email to pick up express mail packages at the internal post office.

· Assist walk-up customers at the counter.

· Answer and direct incoming calls received through the automated phone attendant; screen calls by following established protocol and direct caller to correct area.

· Maintain information in several data bases such as mail stops, front desk phone numbers, UPS ShipExec, UPS CampusShip.

· Process Facilities Service Requests and Office Space Requests; schedule contractor assistance · Order office supplies/paper · Scanning and electronic filing of documents · Perform other clerical tasks when needed.

 

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred.
  • Proven experience in an office administration role, preferably with mail services experience.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in using computer applications and office software including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.

Job Duties:

• Unpack product from cardboard boxes and stack product according to specifications onto the display table.

• Build cardboard displays to customer specifications.

The purpose of this position is to accurately transfer product, both physically and logically, into and/or out of warehouse locations, load/unload trailers, move product throughout the facility with powered industrial equipment and perform case pick and inventory counts as required.

Job Responsibilities:

• Accurately load pallets of product for customer orders utilizing WMS computer system

• Unload customer product into proper location while ensuring damaged product is processed before being put away

• Operate forklift in a safe manner

• Perform inventory counts to ensure bay location is accurate

• Primary focus is on the inbound, outbound, quality hold, displays, case pick replenishments, and materials functions of the facility 

• Read, interpret, and apply Warehouse Management System (WMS) order instructions

• Recognize and correct potential process errors before actions adversely affect the customer

• Recognize damaged product at any point in the warehousing process and take appropriate action when discovered

• Pull orders accurately as assigned

• Stage orders according to carrier location and verify: number of pallets picked as well as stage location

• Prepare receiving, storage and shipping documentation retaining product accountability throughout the logistical process

• Be aware of and follow location and work center Safety and Security policies and procedures

• Performs housekeeping duties and other duties as assigned

• Evaluate performance of all Forklift Operators and conduct performance reviews and carry out disciplinary communications and appropriate documentation to support performance, and attendance.

• Assist Warehouse Manager in developing strategies and actions for the purpose of improving warehouse performance. This may include creating and maintaining reports to monitor progress.

• Effectively delegate tasks and provide mentoring where applicable.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

Education, experience, and skills: A college degree is desired but not necessary. A minimum of two years of prior experience in a warehouse environment as a Supervisor is required for this position. This prior experience must also include driving a forklift, loading, and unloading freight, as well as inventory management. Must demonstrate good judgment and decision-making skills as well as effective communication skills with employees and customers. Must demonstrate an ability to supervise and motivate employees. Strong organizational skills will be necessary to establish and manage daily warehouse activities. Must possess the ability to effectively use Microsoft Office products, EMAIL platforms, and applicable Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

Physical, mental, and environmental requirements: Position requires sitting, standing, walking, stooping, hearing, and talking on a regular basis. Some lifting up to 50 pounds and riding a forklift will be necessary when working in the warehouse. Must be able to solve problems and multiple tasks in a fast-paced changing work environment.   • 1st Shift:  $16.50
  • 2nd Shift:  $18.00

Schedule:

  • Monday – Friday, required overtime on the weekend is possible
  • 1st Shift:  5am – 5pm 
  • 2nd Shift:  5pm – 5am 

Job Duties of a Window Assembler:

  • Read, follow, and understand work instructions per unique customer requirements
  • Sort and cut material for each window order
  • Assemble frame and sash
  • Install and clean trim and hardware
  • Prepare glass for installation
  • Assemble window and its components
  • Clean, wrap, and prepare product for shipment
  • Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean workspace
