The typical schedule for the Treating Department: (Will Train on Day Shift then rotate to nights)
- Days 7:00am-7:00pm
- Nights 7:00pm-7:00am
- Rotating 2 days on and 2 days off schedule
Must be able to work 365 Days a year (if shift falls on a weekend or a holiday)
Starting Pay for nights $17.00 an hour
Wood Treater Helper Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with treating lumber in the Treating room
- Apply chemical preservatives to wood products
- Reading gauges, dealing with chargers, operate a forklift
- Monitoring pressure levels
- Cleaning up at certain stages of treating
- Perform hands on tasks
- Work in a team environment
