  • 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Operate CNC machines to produce machined parts according to specifications.
  • Review work orders, blueprints, and engineering plans to plan machining operations.
  • Interpret geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
  • Program mills and lathes by entering instructions, setting tool registers, offsets, and compensation.
  • Perform calculations using basic math, geometry, and trigonometry to ensure accuracy.
  • Verify machine settings and first-run parts to maintain quality standards.
  • Monitor operations such as drilling, grooving, cutting, turning, facing, knurling, and thread chasing.
  • Troubleshoot processes, adjust controls, and replace worn tools as needed.
  • Maintain equipment and adhere to safety and quality assurance procedures.

Must understand how to build the cables first, then document this in MS Word, using drawings and digital images where appropriate. The technician will be given information about each cable, usually in the form of a bill-of-materials, a print of the assembled cable, and manufacturing guidelines that explain the do’s and don’ts of  processes. From this information, the technician needs to verify that the parts identified on the bill-of-materials are correct for the job, and research the tools needed to build the cable with these parts. The assembly process will explain how to use the parts, and the tools, to complete the assembly of the cable. An inspection and test process must also be written.

Job Summary:

  • Apply knowledge of electronics, electrical theory, and Ohm’s law.
  • Troubleshoot setup and product issues independently.
  • Understand 802.3 Ethernet standards.
  • Maintain and secure test equipment and calibration records.
  • Report errors in procedures, drawings, and materials to support teams.
  • Complete documentation and enter data accurately in IFS system.
  • Ensure high-quality standards and safe work practices.
  • Communicate effectively with all departments and identify special tooling needs.

Education & Experience

  • Two-year technical degree, military training, or equivalent experience.
  • HS Diploma/ GED
  • Recent experience in electrical/electronics manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, and fiber optic products.

Skills & Abilities

Position Responsibilities:

  • Packing finished product into boxes
  • Filling machines with materials needed for production lines
  • Clearing machine jams when they occur
  • Testing and verifying the quality of the product being produced
  • Reporting all required data during runs
  • Operates machines and production equipment safely
  • Maintains accurate daily production records
  • Troubleshoot and resolves technical problems from the product line/process

Note: This individual must be able to learn GMP’s, ISO, and OSHA requirements in the manufacturing environment. This position shall operate in accordance with company policies & procedures, FDA regulations, and ISO standards.

Qualified candidates should possess the following:
