Responsibilities:

¦ Prepares documents/reports required to research properties prior to and following acquisition and disposition of single-family properties, such as working with vendors to secure appraisals, contractors for minor repairs, environmental reviews, title companies, pest control services, security services, lawn maintenance, cleaning services, etc.

¦ Prepare and maintain Asset Management Report for Single Family Homes & Lots.

¦ Submit request for purchase orders, includes procurement compliance for contractor selection, and assessment of materials needed for the scope of work.

¦ Monitor and track the progress of approval documents (e.g., Earnest Money Contracts, etc.) that result in the acquisition/disposition of single-family assets.

¦ Maintains and monitors the Middle Income Homeownership Program and determines eligibility (income, availability of funds, etc.). Ensures applications for assistance are complete and reviews mortgage underwriting commitment letters and closing documents for accuracy.

¦ Orders required closing documents. Prepares closing and funding instructions to be sent to the title prior to closing. Prepares funding packages and routing documents for review and final approval of senior staff prior to funding.

Client Service Specialist Responsibilities:

•Case management experience required 

? Performs clerical work of routine difficulty

•Involving the taking of initial applications for housing, rent collection and continued occupancy for public housing developments,

• Conducts screening, intake and move in of applicants as per the Admissions and Continued Occupancy Policy.

• Collects and deposits funds owed by residents.

• Ensures rent payments and other charges are inputted into the computer in a timely manner, maintain records of collections, prepare reports.

• Maintains and monitors delinquent rent roll.

• Completes and tracks re-certifications on residents at the assigned developments.

• Completes interviews of residents and processes change of income for residents.

• Issues lease violations and monitors curb appeal for residents at the assigned developments.

• Prepares and Processes recommendation for lease violations.

• Conducts move-in, move-out and housekeeping inspections of units.

• Completes move out of residents as per the Admissions and Continued Occupancy Policy (ACOP).and SOP's. Maintain a working knowledge of Housing Authority policy and procedures to assure residents have a clear understanding of changes that may affect their residency.

• Facilitates resident meetings Ensure time is entered daily.

• Prepares Reasonable Accommodations for approval and/or denial.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Previous forklift experience is required - (sit down forklift)

• Must be able to work 12 hour days (including weekends days off will rotate)
• Must be able to work overtime

Hours of operation 

7am-7pm - 6 days a week (1st shift)

7pm-7am - 6 days a week (2nd shift) - will have a pay differential 

Training - 2 weeks 7am-5pm
