Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Job Description

A local municipality in Pineville, LA is seeking dependable and hardworking individuals for Water Wells Technician positions. In this role, you will work alongside an experienced crew to help maintain, repair, and support water distribution systems and related infrastructure.

This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy working outdoors, performing hands-on tasks, and contributing to essential utility services that support the community.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the repair and maintenance of water lines and related infrastructure
• Work with crew members to identify and repair leaks and service issues
• Assist with digging, trenching, and utility repair projects
• Operate hand tools and equipment safely and effectively
• Load, unload, and transport tools, materials, and supplies
• Perform routine maintenance on water utility equipment and systems
• Follow all safety procedures and work-site regulations
• Complete assigned tasks as directed by supervisors

Qualifications

• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, digging, and standing for extended periods
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Previous utility, construction, maintenance, or general labor experience preferred but not required
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
