Shipping/Logistics Clerk

Our client in Des Moines is looking for an experienced shipping/logistics clerk. Strong knowledge of the shipping and receiving process is required. This is a full time, temp-to-hire role. This position may require working between 2 facilities on the NE side of Des Moines.

Starting Pay: $19.50/hour

Hours: 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday, OT as needed

Duties:

Process and troubleshoot customer orders.
Resolve order discrepancies as needed.
Coordinate and update warehouse employees regarding new and modified orders.
Review shipping and receiving reports to ensure accurate and on-time deliveries.
Process, audit, and file shipping documentation.

Requirements:

1+ years of experience working in a customer service role within a logistics environment.
Strong knowledge of BOLs.
Strong customer service skills and attitude
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Basic math skills.
