Now Hiring: Warehouse Forklift Driver

Our client in Alexandria, LA is seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Warehouse Forklift Driver to support shipping and receiving operations. This position is responsible for operating a forklift, loading and unloading shipments, moving inventory throughout the warehouse, and assisting with general warehouse duties.

The ideal candidate will have prior forklift experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the warehouse
• Load and unload trucks and deliveries
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments
• Prepare and stage outgoing orders for shipping
• Store products in designated warehouse locations
• Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation
• Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records
• Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and safe
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and operational guidelines
• Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned

Required

• Previous forklift operating experience
• Experience in a warehouse, shipping, or receiving environment
• Ability to safely handle and move materials
• Basic math and inventory skills
• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred

• Forklift certification
• Previous shipping and receiving experience
• Experience with inventory management systems

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures
• Comfortable operating warehouse equipment and machinery
