MIG Welder

Our client is looking for an experienced Mig Welder (pulse). This is a temporary position through Mid August.  There is a possibility the position could lead into fulltime. The position is located on the ne side of Des Moines.

Starting Pay $18.00-$19.00+ / Hour (DOE)

Hours: 6:00am-4:30pm (Monday-Thursday), (6:00am-Noon Friday, when O.T. is needed)

Duties:

1. Set up welding machines based on specifications.
2. Ability to interpret blueprints.
3. Interpreting blue prints and fabricating (welding) form the blue print and parts.
4. Weld metal components together.

Requirements:

1. Ability to read a tape measure to the 16th of an inch.
2. ALL other PPE’s supplied by the company (Welder’s helmet supplied by associate).
3. Min 6 months to 2 years exp. with MIG and/or TIG steel, aluminum or stainless-steel welding.
4. Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds (hoists are available).
