Customer Service Representative – Manufacturing
Pay: $19–$22 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Day Shift | Monday–Friday
Job Location: Athens, TX
Job Summary
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to support our manufacturing operations by assisting customers with orders, pricing, inventory availability, and delivery scheduling. This role works closely with warehouses, production, and internal teams to ensure accurate order processing and on-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries by phone and fax regarding orders, pricing, inventory, and delivery status
- Enter customer orders accurately into the system
- Coordinate with warehouses and internal departments to schedule, ship, and expedite orders
- Provide updates on order status and assist with questions or concerns
- Support resolution of order issues or customer complaints
- Use computers and business software daily
- Follow all safety policies and company procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required
- Customer service experience preferred (manufacturing or distribution environment a plus)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented and dependable
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Team-focused with a problem-solving mindset
