A well-established healthcare office in Tallahassee is seeking a professional, articulate, and detail-oriented Front Desk Assistant with medical office experience. This role serves as the first point of contact for patients and plays a key role in delivering excellent customer service while ensuring smooth daily office operations. The ideal candidate will be dependable, organized, and able to handle a fast-paced environment with professionalism and discretion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls
• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments
• Verify insurance information and patient demographics
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Process intake paperwork and ensure completeness
• Handle patient inquiries and provide general office information
• Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow
• Perform general administrative duties including filing, scanning, and data entry
• Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines

Qualifications:

• Previous medical front desk or healthcare office experience required
• Professional, articulate, and detail-oriented demeanor
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Reliable attendance and punctuality required
