Job Opening: Industrial Machine Operator
Description
Our client is looking for experienced Machine Operators.
Set up and operate Plant Machinery in a safe and appropriate manner.
Primary Duties
• Expected to follow all safety rules and policies and work in a manner that protects themselves and other stakeholders from hazards and injuries.
- Properly set and operates computer and switch controls for the work center.
- Review schedule to determine set up and work sequence.
- Review equipment checklist.
- Perform environmental recordkeeping on specified forms per correlating Work Instruction.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Physical / Visual Demands
- Frequently required to read, stand, talk and hear. Occasionally required to sit, walk, bend, stoop, use hands, write, type, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms.
• Ability to correctly distinguish and identify colors.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs frequently. Exerting up to 50 lbs of force occasionally, and/or up to 25 lbs of force frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs of force constantly to move objects.

Requirements
- Equivalent trade school experience and/or a minimum of one-year heavy industrial machine experience.
- Understanding of, and ability to apply, basic operating principles and techniques to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.
