12 Hour Shifts 7am-7pm

Pay: $18.00 DOE

Job Requirements

• 1+ years treating experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• PIE Certified knowledge
• Boiler Operating License preferred
• Knowledge of quality controls
• Experience machine operating
• Attention to detail
• Able to read measurements using quality tools

Job Responsibilities

• Follow safety guidelines
• Follow standard work instructions as assigned
• Perform hands-on tasks
• Oversees the production of the treating of railroad cross ties
• Read gauges and maintain the chemicals
• Perform operational duties – work instructions, inspection, grading, treatment and materials.
• Operates the treating plant safely and proficiently.
• Maintain clean and organized workspace
• Inspect and test finished product according to quality standards
• Work closely with production management to provide feedback on quality of product
• Ensure product meets customer specifications
• May work individually or in team environment
• May use computer systems for recordkeeping and quality documentation
