Fabricator/Maintenance

Pay: $17.00 per hour (possibly more depending on experience)

Shift: 6a-2p Mon-Fri

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and troubleshooting fabrication equipment, following production instructions, completing required documentation, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop manufacturing skills while contributing to a fast-paced production operation.

Essential Responsibilities

• Operate and troubleshoot fabrication equipment, including:
  • Steel Rule Die Presses
  • Laser Machines
  • Optical Hole Punches
  • Knife Cutters
  • Forming Machines
• Read, understand, and follow Production Job Travelers to ensure products are manufactured to specifications.
• Complete all required production documentation accurately and timely.
• Perform quality checks to verify product requirements and standards are met.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Communicate equipment, quality, or production issues to supervisors as needed.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Shift Availability

• Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Night Shift: 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM
• Overtime Available: Monday through Saturday

What We’re Looking For

• Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to write basic correspondence clearly
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively in one-on-one and small group settings
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Ability to perform calculations using units of measure, weight, volume, and distance
• Ability to apply common sense to carry out detailed written or verbal instructions
• Problem-solving skills in situations with a few standardized variables
• Commitment to following all plant safety rules, GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), and operating procedures
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and assist on other shifts as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Forklift experience
