Job Duties of the Plastic Injection Molding Machine Operators:

• Verify materials as found on work orders
• Operate various sizes of injection molding machines after set-ups
• Package finished goods, and maintain documentation of records
• Handle, inspect and package molded parts according to specifications
• Position inserts, cycle presses, remove molded parts, and clear knock-out pins too ensure proper action
• Inspect molded parts for fill-out, color surface blemishes, finish and dimension
• Trim, wrap, and package molded parts, as well as count rejects
