We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assembler to join our Production Assembly team in Oconto, WI! In this role, you will assemble and modify small to medium wire harnesses (100 circuits or less) based on customer specifications. You will work closely with team members and leadership to ensure that all products meet quality, delivery, and technical standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, thrives in a team environment, and takes pride in producing high-quality results.

1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM Monday through Thursday; 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM on Friday

2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM Monday thru Thursday (+$0.50 premium!)

 

What You’ll Do

  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, diagrams, and work orders to determine assembly requirements.

  • Assemble harnesses using push, click, pull methodology.

  • Perform quality checks (A620 standards) on lengths, terminations, connectors, wires, and markings.

  • Inspect or test wiring assemblies and circuits for resistance and operation, documenting results.

  • Adjust, repair, or replace components to correct defects.

  • Work with Team Leaders and Engineering Technicians to resolve production issues.

  • Apply weather seals, heat shrink, molding, soldering, braiding, and other finishing techniques while maintaining quality standards.

Job Requirements:

What We’re Looking For

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Ability to pass a skills test with 70% or higher.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to distinguish colors, gauges, and markings on wires.

  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or a permanent resident with valid credentials.

Physical Requirements

  • Frequent walking, standing, sitting, reaching, bending, twisting, and repetitive movement.

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25 lbs frequently; occasionally up to 50 lbs.

  • Must have good vision, normal color recognition, and fair manual dexterity.

  • Moderate hearing ability required.

  • Must be able to wear safety glasses and follow dress code requirements.
