Remedy Intelligent Staffing is now seeking 1st shift, Production Upholsterer for a design and manufacturing company in Fond du Lac, WI.

Shift: 1st Shift- 6:00am-4:00pm, with overtime on Fridays. (Flexibility to change schedule to 1-2 hrs before/after your shift)

Pay: $17 - $18/hour 

Job Duties:

-Spray glue to adhere padding to wood.

-Stretch/pull vinyl over wood frames.

-Measure and cut material.

-Use a staple gun.

-Assemble product.

-Could eventually learn to operate an industrial sewing machine and vinyl cutting machine.

Qualifications:

-Ability to use a tape measure.

-Prior experience operating an industrial sewing machine preferred, but will train.

Physical Requirements:

-Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

-Able to stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel and crouch as needed.

-Able to stretch/pull vinyl material, which can be very physical.

Education Requirements: None

Training Schedule: Same as regular work hours.

Environment: Production environment Employee

Provided Dress/PPE: Steel toes required. Safety glasses and rubber gloves supplied by the company.

Requirements:

-Requires experience using power tools, and ability to read a tape measure

-Prefer industrial sewing machine experience, but not required.

-Must be able to pull vinyl and lift to 50 lbs on a consistent basis.

-Maintaining inventory for the machine.
