This is a hands-on position where you'll have the opportunity to learn a variety of production and assembly functions while working in a stable environment that values work-life balance.

 

Schedule:

Monday - Thursday, 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Flexible scheduling options may be available:

6:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Tuesday - Friday schedule

 

Pay: $19.00 per hour

 

Responsibilities:

  • Gather and inspect materials used in production.
  • Assemble mattresses, cushions, slings, wheelchairs, clinical care recliners, and other manufactured products.
  • Operate machinery, hand tools, power tools, and adhesives as needed.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Package completed products for shipment.
  • Assist with general production, assembly, and warehouse tasks as assigned.

Join a Growing Team!

We are seeking hardworking, reliable individuals to join our team as Cheese Laborers in Chilton, Wisconsin. This hands-on production role is ideal for candidates who enjoy physical work, working as part of a team, and contributing to the production of high-quality cheese products.

 

 

What You'll Do

As a Cheese Laborer, you will support packaging and sanitation operations within the facility. Key responsibilities include:

  • Lift and place 7-pound cheese blocks onto conveyor belts for packaging.
  • Stack product into large plastic totes.
  • Move filled totes using a pallet truck to the sealing station.
  • Transfer sealed totes to the cooler for storage.
  • Maintain safe and efficient workflow throughout the production process.
  • Assist with nightly sanitation of production equipment, including:
    • Conveyor belts
    • Packaging machinery
    • Production surfaces
  • Perform wet cleaning activities while wearing protective rain gear and PPE.
  • Follow all food safety, quality, and workplace safety procedures.

 

Possible Schedules:

Second Shift

  • Monday – Thursday OR Tuesday – Friday
  • 1:00 PM – 11:30 PM

Third Shift

  • Monday – Thursday + 1 hour into Friday
  • 9:00 PM – 7:30 AM

 

 

Pay & Benefits

Base Pay: $24.70/hour

Shift Premiums:

  • +$3.00/hour for hours worked between 6:00 PM and 6:00 AM
  • +$2.25/hour for weekend hours worked
