Starting Pay: $90,000 - $135,000/year (DOE)

Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday
Occasional work outside of the main hours

Civil Engineering Duties:

• Manage projects including residential subdivisions, parking lots, site plans roads/highways, etc.
• Assist in the design of land development projects from conceptual phase through construction, including grading, utilities, drainage, storm water management, sediment and erosion control, permitting, and regulatory approval
• Prepare project specification, quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and project schedules (manage deadlines)
• Involvement in the planning, design, and delivery of projects from start to finish

Requirements:

• Licensed Professional Civil Engineer
• Proficient in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, Autodesk Storm and Sanitary Analysis
• Trimble Access and Microsoft Office
• Associate degree from a technical or four-year school preferred
• 5-10+ years experience minimum
• Intermediate to experienced level of expertise with all major technical aspects of surveying
• Must be able to work in inclement weather conditions
• May have to trave to Nebraska on occasion

Quality Control Duties:

• Conduct pre-pour inspections and post-pour inspections
• Document variance reports, bed shut down process, product repairs, shop drawings
• Complete fresh concrete testing, hardened concrete testing, aggregate moisture tests, sieve analysis, and initial set tests
• Perform housekeeping responsibilities and implement/follow 5S organizational methodology
• Mark products with identification and appropriate visual markings per customers Color Code System
• Inform manager of any nonconformity of product, personnel issues, or equipment issues
• Documentation of testing and inspection records
• Reading and interpreting shop drawings

Requirements:

• Six months of experience in pre-cast/pre-stressed concrete
• Obtain Precast/Pre-stressed Concrete Institute Levels I and II certifications
• Obtain American Concrete Institute Grade I certification
• Obtain all applicable Department of Transportation certifications
• Basic math and computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
