Job Duties for Assemblers:

• Perform a series of wire cutting and assembly processes
• Perform setup and operation of wire cutting equipment, lugging presses, clamp and electrode assembly, cleaning electrical cords, and quality inspection
• Follow and read work instructions and blueprints
• Utilize various hand tools

Job Requirements:

Qualifications of the Assembler:

• Must have a strong mechanical aptitude
• Must be able to work with tools and be a self-starter
• Prior assembly or manufacturing experience as well as the ability to read and understand diagrams is preferred, but willing to train the right candidates
• Must have strong communication and teamwork mindset

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand for the entire shift (up to 12 hours if on overtime)
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., but most lifting will be 20 lbs or less and occasionally up to 40 lbs

PPE: 

• Must wear safety shoes (ESD preferred). Company will supply all other PPE

Shift:

• Day Shift: 6:00am-6:00pm 2-2-3 schedule
• Night Shift- 6:00pm-6:00am 2-2-3 schedule

Pay:

• Day Shift: $20.50/hour
• Night Shift: $21.50/hour
• Pay increases upon learning new tasks!

Job Duties of the General Labor Furnace Operator:

• Load and unload cast iron parts into and out of alloy baskets
• Follow detailed work instructions 
• Follow safety guidelines
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Eventually will learn how to operate the furnace, perform quality checks, and other tasks

Job Requirements:

Qualifications of the General Labor Furnace Operator:

• Previous manufacturing experience is preferred but not required
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Must be detail oriented
• Must have basic level of reading, writing, and arithmetic skills
• Must have problem solving/communication skills
• Ability to read and follow work instructions

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 30-40 lbs. regularly and 50 lbs. occasionally 
• Bending, stooping, lifting, twisting
• Must be able to stand and move about the entire shift

Employee Provided Dress/PPE:

• Steel toes required. Company will provide other PPE.
