Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
A local public utility employer is seeking a dependable Utility Maintenance Laborer to assist with water utility maintenance, repairs, and construction-related projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, working outdoors, and building a long-term career.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the maintenance, repair, and installation of water lines and utility infrastructure
- Dig, expose, repair, and backfill water lines and utility service connections
- Perform manual labor, including lifting, carrying, loading, and unloading materials and equipment
- Assist crews with locating, repairing, and replacing damaged water lines
- Operate hand tools and equipment safely
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of utility operations
Schedule
- Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Overtime as needed
- Weekend work may be required during emergency situations

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Utility, construction, public works, or general labor experience preferred
