Position Responsibilities:

· Verifying proper machine operation

· Clearing machine jams when they occur

· Testing and verifying the quality of the product being produced

· Reporting all required data during runs

· Operates machines and production equipment safely

· Monitors the quality of output to identify, discard or remanufacture faulty products

· Maintains accurate daily production records

Summary:

Constructs, maintains, and tests mechanical equipment, machinery, and components. Identifies parts for replacement and machines that need new parts and places orders as necessary. May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals to perform a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. Typically reports to Assembly Mechanic IV or Production Manager.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Build new pumps, provide assistance in the installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and controls.
  • Maintain test standards and equipment in accordance with ISO procedures.
  • Know, understand, and abide by environmental policies.
  • Use specialized equipment such as tape measure, band saw, hand grinders, steam cleaner etc.
  • Perform basic metalworking duties such as measuring, cutting, grinding, drilling and deburring parts.
  • Operate forklift to unload and handle raw materials.
  • Assemble components using basic hand tools.
  • Read and follow blueprints and work instructions.
  • Perform a wide range of shop duties to support the Engineering Group.
  • Maintain work area and equipment.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Additional Functions

  • May be required to spray paint pump units.
  • May be required to work overtime according to the Production schedule.
  • Required to assist other departments as necessary.
  • Responsible for following all safety regulations at all work areas and job sites.
  • Must have good working knowledge of D.C. electrical systems and troubleshooting.
  • Requires the ability to read wiring diagrams and troubleshooting guides.
  • The ability to work productively in teams as well as individually.

Collections Specialist

Position Overview:

The Collections Specialist is responsible for collection of outstanding past due balances from their assigned customer base. This will include resolving invoicing issues which may involve working directly with assigned Sales and Project Managers. The ultimate goal will be to identify all underlying issues delaying payment within terms and bringing to resolution in such a manner that improves customer relationships.

  • Contact customers regarding payment via email and/or telephone with documentation into Excel format or ERP system
  • Analyze and process requests from multiple locations regarding releasing orders from credit block
  • Process invoices via customer online portals where necessary
  • Receive and process new customer account requests
  • Obtain remit advice from customers for proper cash application of payments where necessary

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the collections field required
  • Business (Inventory based) to Business Collections experience preferred
  • Background in commercial credit processing or banking a plus

Production Control Specialist 

  • Track and facilitate production of deliverable units through all manufacturing areas. Ensure all deliverable products are completed on-time.
  • Communicate problems quickly and to the appropriate contacts to ensure any issues slowing down or stopping production are resolved in a timely manner.  If issues cannot be resolved immediately, monitor progress and push to a resolution.
  • Accurately update MRP (IFS) and Manufacturing Scheduling (WinMOPs) systems in a timely manner. Add production notes into WinMOPs daily so that any user can know the status of a deliverable line by COB each day.   
  • Assist planning team with daily tasks.  Attend planning meetings as needed. 
  • Comply with, and assist in the enforcement of all company safety policies.
  • Maintain excellent communication and working relationship with all departments within the company.
  • Creates new shop orders, tracks shop order material complete dates and releases shop orders for kitting.
  • Aggressively tracks past due components and sub assembly shortages.

Education and Experience:

  • HS Diploma or GED 
  • A.S. Degree, Technical Certificate or APICS CPIM a plus
  • Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience. 
  • Production planning experience with ERP/MRP systems and strong understanding of shop floor control activities preferred

Position Oveview:

This position is responsible for ensuring that products being delivered meet a high level of quality.  This position is responsible for inspecting components, sub-assemblies, and final products prior to moving these to the next step in the manufacturing process or shipment to the customer.  As a mid-level position, it is expected that there will be a small amount of oversight into the work performed by the area lead and more senior employees.

  • Perform Final Inspection of product to relevant documentation
  • Perform In-Process Inspection of product to relevant documentation
  • Records data as requested from inspection results (defect tracking, check sheets, etc.)
  • Communicate non-conformances as necessary to Quality Supervisor, Manufacturing Leads/Supervisors
  • Process MRBs (Material Review Board)
  • Process audits/In-process quality reviews
  • Resolve repeated quality concerns, process and product related.
  • Identify, measure risk of escape, and contain product quality concerns.
  • Work overtime / weekends as required to meet business demands

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum one of the following:
    • Two year technical degree

Chemistry Lab Technician II

Position Summary:

Perform routine laboratory analysis of In-Process, finished product, raw material, stability samples and environmental monitoring according to established specifications and procedures using wet chemistry techniques or various laboratory apparatus and instruments (e.g. HPLC, UV/Visible Spectrophotometer, FTIR, TOC, pH meter etc.) in compliance with cGMP, GLPs, SOPs, USP and FDA guidelines.

Responsibilities: Essential Duties

  • Performs routine laboratory analysis of In-Process, finished product, raw material, stability samples and environmental monitoring according to established specifications and procedures using wet chemistry techniques or various laboratory apparatus and instruments (e.g. HPLC, UV/Visible Spectrophotometer, FTIR, TOC, pH meter etc.) in compliance with cGMP, GLPs, SOPs, USP and FDA guidelines.
  • Performs routine qualification, calibration and maintenance of laboratory instruments.
  • Prepares analytical standards and reagents according to established procedures and specifications.

The job function listed is not exhaustive and shall also include any responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor from time to time.

Expertise: Knowledge & Skills

  • Assignments are routine and repetitious in nature. Work performed within narrowly defined parameters. Follows established procedures and guidelines.
  • Works under direct supervision and from detailed verbal and/or written instructions. Uses established procedures to accomplish assigned task.
  • May require some limited judgement in resolving problems
  • Contacts are primarily with direct supervisor, peers and subordinates.

Preferred Requirement

  • Degree in chemistry or a closely related scientific discipline.
  • 2-4 years of experience 
  • HPLC experience is a must
