1st Shift Forklift Operator needed for a local distribution center in Cedar Falls, IA.

Shift:  6:00am - 2:30 pm 

Pay:  $16.00/hr.

In this position the Operator will:

• Transfer product both physically and with power equipment into and out of the warehouse.
• Read, interpret reports and job orders.
• Recognize and correct errors, look for damaged product.
• Pull/Stage orders.
• Prepare shipping documents.

Job Requirements:

Required Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED
• One year experience related to warehouse and power equipment.
• Been certified on power equipment before.
• Ability to read, do math, understand and respond to written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Able to use computers and hand scanners.

• 1st Shift:  $16.50
• 2nd Shift:  $18.00

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday, required overtime on the weekend is possible
• 1st Shift:  5am - 5pm 
• 2nd Shift:  5pm - 5am 

Assemblers working at this well-established window manufacturer will assemble parts to produce custom, energy efficient vinyl windows.

These are long-term, temporary assignments but can be temporary-to-hire for exceptional candidates!

Ideal job to earn overtime pay.  Overtime wages of $24.75 and $27.00 per overtime hour.  Overtime is Mandatory

Job Duties of a Window Assembler:

• Read, follow, and understand work instructions per unique customer requirements
• Sort and cut material for each window order
• Assemble frame and sash
• Install and clean trim and hardware
• Prepare glass for installation
• Assemble window and its components
• Clean, wrap, and prepare product for shipment
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean workspace
