A leading CNC machine manufacturer in Mineola is seeking an Inside Sales Representative with a strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of industrial machine components. This position is ideal for someone who understands the parts and systems used in CNC machinery and can confidently communicate with customers in manufacturing, maintenance, engineering, and production environments.
The right candidate will be comfortable discussing components such as motors, gears, bearings, capacitors, transistors, relays, drives, electrical controls, and other machine-building parts. You must be able to "speak the language" of the industry and build credibility with customers through your technical knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email
- Prepare and follow up on quotes and RFQs
