Shift: 1st

Days: Monday - Friday

Hours: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Pay: $19/hr

Location: East Syracuse

Job Responsibilities May Include:

Organize and maintain the machine shop tool crib including tool setups (presetting), issuing fixtures and gauges and managing the perishable tool supply.   

Set tooling for CNC machine tools as required prior to machine set up.

Assembles necessary fixtures, gauges, etc. for issue with setup package.

Develops and maintains a tool bill of material database.

.Loads programs into and out of shop machine tools.

Tears down and inventories tool assemblies and components upon job completion.

Job Requirements:

Must have the ability to understand inventory including part numbers

Must have experience and be proficient in Microsoft Excel

Must be able to kit and prep machine tool parts for upcoming jobs

Must be detailed orientated

Knowledge of tools and parts

Use of brushes/rollers/sprayers to apply paints and finishes as well as mixing and matching paint

Ability to take transformer parts apart and scrapping out metal insides (copper, steel, aluminum, glass, etc.)

Ability to document data and complete work orders in a timely manner

Equipment maintenance

Job Requirements:

Ability to provide own tools (pry bar, screwdrivers, socket sets, and crescent wrenches)

1 year manufacturing experience and/or 1 year of manual labor experience in specific industry
