Job Duties May Include:

Loading raw material, selecting and installing the correct tooling based on part specifications, adjusting machine parameters according to blueprints.

Monitoring the machine during production runs, checking for quality issues, adjusting settings as needed to maintain tolerances.

Performing in-process inspections using measuring tools like calipers and micrometers to ensure parts meet quality standards.

Basic maintenance and cleaning and lubricating the machine, identifying and reporting any mechanical issues to maintenance personnel.

Maintaining production logs, recording quality data, and documenting any machine malfunctions

Maintain production orders and schedules

Job Requirements:

Prior material and machine set up

Ability to read and interpret blueprints

Understands math decimals, fractions, etc.

Understands standard and metric measurements and ability to convert

Ability to use precision measuring instruments

At least one year of prior hands on experience working with automated machines in a manufacturing environment

Must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate English

Use Pacemaster machine, fill and vibrate molds while manually packing sand.

Strick off excess sand.

Use rollover machine or manually strips pattern when sand has been hardened.

Inspect mold for flaking sand, broken parts, and condition of pattern.

Assist plaster molders.

Meet quality and quantity standards.

Location: Kirkville, NY

Job Duties May Include:

Assure proper gauging is available, calibrated, and on the production floor in a timely manner.

Perform gauge calibrations, cleaning, and repairs.

Maintain all gauge inventory.

Ability to order new gauging to meet production requirements.

Assemble gauge pans for production runs, break down gauge pans upon return, verify all gauges are accounted for and are in good working order.

Coordinate gage procurement/manufacture/revision through quality engineers and the engineering department.

Perform quality system audits.

Assist production with the use of special gauging equipment and assist Quality Technicians.

Job Requirements:

Must be able to read and write English and perform basic math skills.

Must be able to read and understand blue prints, inspection plans, and follow instructions.

Must have ability to use, interpret, calibrate, and perform simple repairs on precision measuring gauges.

Experience Required:

1-3 years of experience with precision measuring instruments in a similar industry are required.
