Remedy Professional Services is currently aiding in a search for a full-time, direct-hire Quality Control Manager, to primarily work day shift.
Our client is an ITAR registered, ISO- and AS9100-certified shop in Rochester. This is an exciting time for our client, as theyâ€™ve recently made a significant investment into their business, machinery, etc.
This position leads the quality control team (six engineers/programmers/techs) to improve processes and outcomes through eliminating/reducing defects and ensuring the proper control mechanisms are utilized.
Â· Writing and implementing quality control policies and procedures
Â· Maintaining strict controls on compliance and reporting
Â· Oversee first article inspections, source inspections and final inspections.Â
Â· Identifies, initiates, leads/supports projects to reduce waste and improve safety, quality, service, and productivity.
Â· Develops and analyzes statistical data and product specifications to determine standards and to establish quality and reliability expectancy of finished products.

Remedy Professional Services is currently aiding in a search for a full-time, direct-hire CMM Programmer for our client. This position will work the day shift 7am-3:30pm, overtime will be available. Our client is an ITAR registered, ISO- and AS9100-certified shop in Rochester. This is an exciting time for our client, as they’re undergoing a major transformation, purchasing new machinery, etc. The CMM Programmer is responsible for inspecting incoming components and materials of machined metal parts. Will also inspect in-process materials, coordinate all non-conformance reporting relating to inspections, program the CMM to be able to automatically check the more complex parts and be responsible for coordinating calibration activities for all in-process gages and tooling. Responsibilities: • Maintain CMM Calypso software and provide CMM data for sample part submission. • Interface with customers, contractors and suppliers as appropriate. • Participate in root cause analysis and team problem solving activities (ex. 8D reports, department meetings, etc.). • Write and Develop Coordinate Measuring Programs using Computer Aided Drafting Data (Calypso) Files to translate program needs. • Conduct part layouts and capability studies to assure parts meet or exceed dimensional requirements of the customer. • Conduct layouts for trial support to ensure that new parts meet or exceed inspection criteria and customer standards. • Maintain calibration and certification records. • Maintain gauges in good working order. • Establish and maintain annual part / gauge layout schedules. • Conduct Gage Repeatability and Reproduce-ability (GR&R) Studies to ensure Check Fixtures are in compliance with Customer Requirements and MSA. • Conduct Capability Studies, short-term and long term, to ensure process and product CPK Targets are tracked, and met. • Conduct “Color Scan Analysis” studies on parts to support Customer Requirements and Tower needs.Apply Now More Info
