General Responsibilities:

  • Produce weldments to the specified documentation on both prints and job paperwork.
  • Must be able to read and comprehend job paperwork and prints.
  • Responsible for setup, operation, and maintenance of the tools within the work area.
  • Must be certifiable and able to pass the certification test in accordance with the AWS D14.1 specifications.
  • Notify Group Leader when welding supplies are needed.
  • Maintain a clean work area.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must have spray arc welding experience and be certifiable in those welding processes.
  • Must be able to operate and use flame cutting equipment.
  • Use and read basic hand tools; including but not limited to grinders, drills, tape measures.
  • Wear all safety equipment as required.
  • Lift and push materials in excess of 50 pounds.
  • Handle materials with forklifts and overhead cranes as needed.
  • Climb portable ladders.
  • Required to travel throughout all the facilities.
  • Must be able to communicate with factory supervision effectively and follow company policies.

C++ Sr. Software Development Engineer

Remedy Professional Services is seeking a Sr. Software Development Engineer to join a growing security solutions provider in the Rochester-area. This is a direct-hire, full-time day position.

*Employee must work onsite. No remote work. No Corp to Corp.*

The Senior Software Development Engineer will review and contribute to requirements, plan and estimate development work, architect, design and implement software solutions, assist with test plans and documentation, and maintain those solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Champion best practices for software development.
  • Work closely with platform and web developers to ensure the integrity of the application throughout the development life cycle.
  • Work within a cross-functional software team to produce tangible, functional deliverables.
  • Architect, design, and implement features in existing applications, new applications, and service-based solutions.
  • Translate agile software development stories into reusable units of functionality.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of development experience
  • SQL Database experience
  • C++ is strongly preferred, C# is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience

This position will pay $80-100K.
